Gabe has his first Baseball Game...the A's

What a handsome bunch we have!

We're so excited about Gabe playing his second year of t-ball...only their not quite the little tikes they were last year.  They throw with some skill and concentration.  They run in the right direction around the diamond...and they're getting guys out and avoiding the outs more.  Still cute...It's "Coach Pitch".  The coach pitches 5 times then the boys get the T if needed.  That's quite rare...

Little League Day at Safeco Field

What a fun full day at Safeco Field Sunday.  It was Little League Day and the stands were packed with these Little Leaguers!  We did a lot of walking…at one time to get to the field to walk around it they (the officials) had us walk up, up, up, the ramps, turn around and walk back down just to regulate the flow of the tens of thousand people.  We walked around the field then back outside the building and all the way up to the 300 level again!  We got our food at 200 and had to eat at one of the landings, starvation had set in!  The whole day was fun.

The Team's FIRST Game!

WHAT A GREAT GAME! SO much fun!  The teams' first game started off with a little guy (from the other team, of course) hitting the ball and running all the way to 1st base...the wrong way!  It was just like what you'd read in a book!  We're all off to a great start and headed in the right direction, what ever that may be...it'll be a great year! Happy last day of winter!

Wow!  What a way to start Spring!  Today, practice was wet, cold, wet, and did I add very cold?  It snowed, hailed, and rained before practice...just stopping long enough to make us hopeful we'd get a full practice in.  NO.  AFter about 20 minutes it rained cold rain!  We got 45 minutes in before giving in.  The kids did manage to completely humor us, though! T-Ball continues!

Another day of practice!  Practice was squeezed in between rain showers. The kids got muddy, but still had tons of fun!  These guys...oh, and gal...are amazing!!!  (Click on any image for closer view.)

Wow, has it been weeks since the last blog entry?  We have been so busy!  I had to stop to post these images, though.  T_Ball has begun and these little guys are SO CUTE!  They're still a bit clumsy, but, it's
clear that'll change in a quick hurry!
