We have gotten many inquiries as to what the duck looking image is that we use for our blog icon.  It's a portrait of a masterpiece!  A "Ducky" that our son made out of play-doh when he was just 5 years old!   Click on it for a closer look (as with most images in our blog) and you can check out all the artists little fingerprints.

Soccer! Fall's here...

Wow, I can't believe we're already almost a month into school!  We have been SO BUSY.  Both kids have sports and we're barely keeping up with the demanding new school year!  Here's a batch of photos starting off the new soccer season.  The girls are having a great time!!!

There is no better show..that is unless you visit the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs during the "Weekend of Jazz"!  We had a fabulous time...beautiful venue, wonderful music, family, friends, and SUNSHINE!!!

This little guy was just so cute!  He was only 3 months old.  Around here we start'em young in the music world!  I couldn't resist the opporunity for a couple shots!

Apparently, he couldn't resist the temptation to blow me a bubble!

Then there was this little guy.  He recently learned to walk, and walk and walk!  We refer to this stage as "Stomping Grapes"!

We were all so pooped.  I think Gabe was sleepwalking all the way out to the car...except, of course, the time I was carrying him!   

  

Sun Lakes

Wow!  What an action packed couple days at Sun Lakes State Park!  I made an impromptu decision that we were all going to go camping this weekend.  What a fun time!  We did have a bout with a tummy flu bug but, despite that, had a great time.

This game was so fun...it was "Water Wars".  You'd shoot water balloons at your opponent about 40 feet away...what a gusher!

Poor Gretchen...she got hit worst with a tummy bug...just wanted to spend some alone time...later she told us because we kept bugging her with "Are you alright?" and "Do you need anything?", etc. 

Gabe's always finding bugs...this time it was a "Potato" or "Pill" bug!

I'm so amazed at how big my kids are getting.  When we first started taking the kids to the park, my daughter hesitated to  even get near this bouncy thing...now she's hanging on the head of it.  At least she still wants to go TO the park!

What a runner!  I think Melina purposed in her heart that I was going to work to get her on film...Work I DID!!!  She's such a lovely little girl...sweet and loving as they come!!!

 

 



 

 

 

 

I love Saturdays with just my family!  We spent the day...no about 1/2 hour at a local velodrome before a cell came through and we got poured on!  We stayed as long as we could under a little stand they had there...well, a little while.
